EVE Online vs. Perpetuum

     Some weeks ago Avatar Creations released a game by the name of Perpetuum, after a while a high ammount of people notice that this game is like EVE Online in a bunch of aspects... A lot of things in Perpetuum have a certain degree of similitude with EVE… Does this means that Perpetuum is better than EVE because is newer? After all you get a new computer every few years because your old computer is failing or simply turning into a clunky obsolete Coffee machine.
     These two games have a bunch of shared mechanics, but which one is better? Is this new developer group Avatar Creations better than CCP??? This is going to be a score based comparison, I hope I can resolve this small controversy between this two games...
1. Graphics
     EVE Online: The GFX of Eve Online are spectacular, the game looks pretty and amazing, the art style is great and the technical aspect of the graphics is also great, with each new expansion the developers improve a certain graphical aspect of the game, for example Trinity improved the game engine and the ships, Tyrannis increase the details of planets and the next phase of Incursion is going to improve the character models and the character creation tool.
     Perpetuum: The GFX of Perpetuum are nice, the artstyle is very cool and the atmosphere is involving. Unfortunately the technical aspect is lacking here, the game texture resolution is a bit mediocre, you will get a nice vista of a robotic city if you zoom out but if you zoom in to the average distance that people play mmos, you will notice that the textures are blurry and muddy. At least we can hope that the developers upgrade the GFX just like EVE.
     Graphics Verdict: EVE Wins!
2. Sound, Music, What U Hear...
     EVE Online: The music of EVE is considered by some people to be one of the best synthesizer soundtracks ever done, the music set an ambient of relaxation and it offers the quirkiness that any Sci-Fi mmo needs. The sound effects are great and offer the right amount of pump that you need, the bigger the guns the louder they sound. One of the best soundtracks in EVE that a lot of people like is a song called "Below the Asteroids" for some reason people like it so much!

     Perpetuum: The music of Perpetuum is also solid, the soundtrack is also full of synthesizers and it's a bit relaxing. The weapons and sound effects are also cool and have their own Robotic charm. The machine guns need more pumping and a few weak sounds should be boosted, but plz don't add too much beef or it will sound like a nuke. For the most part the sound effects of Perpetuum have their right place in the game world, the Mech engines, the beeps and clicks from your Mech computer and everything else seems fine.
