     Everquest 2 Extended requires an Internet connection (which you are responsible for) in order to play. Each membership upgrade or Extended Marketplace in-game item requires a purchase. Active EverQuest II Live subscription accounts (in good standing) are eligible to purchase a $35.00 USD (one per character) "character copy" token to duplicate a character and some of its data over to the EverQuest II Extended service. Only bags, 'No-Trade' and 'Attiuned' items located in personal inventory or equipped will be copied. Other items and coin will not be transferred. The copied character will receive "Gold" equivalent membership benefits (not bound to Bronze and Silver limitations) while the EverQuest II Live subscription is active. At the point in time a paid live subscription is closed, the Extended character will be downgraded to a Bronze membership (or Silver membership, if qualified).
